STRASSENFUSSBALL
The book Strassenfussball features curious photos and stories of street football around 100 countries. The work was released in mid-October 2015, by Edition Panorama, and distributed only in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. All the articles were written by Caio Vilela.

WHERE SOCCER LIVES
This book portrays the most authentic tradition of brazilian soccer: the “pelada” or “informal match. It is in the spontaneous game, played on streets, beaches, informal courts and fields, that the real passion for the sport is brewed.

Photographer Caio Vilela has been recording street soccer over more than 10 years and has covered more than 80 countries. The image colletion included here portrays brilliant, ephemeral and many times also life-changing moments in the five regions of Brazil.

GUIA DA LIBERDADE
With photographs of Caio Vilela, the guide presents what the neighborhood “Liberdade” (Liberty) has to offer: shopping, services, gastronomy, and historical and cultural tours.
Located in downtown, the “Liberdade” was characterized as eastern neighborhood in 1974. Initially known by the Japanese immigrants, it is also inhabited by chinese and korean.
The lighting, with typical red lanterns, features its streets, visited by thousands of tourists searching typical products, restaurants and icons of oriental pop culture. The east is in the heart of Sao Paulo.

UM MUNDO DE CRIANÇAS
We are always learning new things. We learn at home, at work, at school, in books. But our great discoveries come even when we are children. We observe their allure by legends and fairy tales, the vivid way they chase your dreams and the courage facing their fears.
It was the spirit that Ana Busch and Caio Vilela traveled the world knowing different places. They visited more than 50 countries and the result is the book “Um Mundo de Crianças” (A world of Children). The work combines Caio portraits with Ana texts on a story that tells curious things and brings a little bit of the world around each photo.
The children of this book live in different parts of the world. Some live in icy regions, others in tropical forests. Each place has its own language, its own type of food and dress in a particular way. But whatever their culture, all children love to play, learn new things and sit down to listen to stories.

FLORIANÓPOLIS
“Florianópolis” is the new title of the collection “Cities of Brazil”. Photos of Caio Vilela reveal the natural beauty and unique culture of the capital of Santa Catarina, which receives brazilian and foreign tourists all year round. The text was written by the columnist of the Folha de S. Paulo, José Geraldo Couto, who swapped São Paulo for Florianópolis for over seven years. Couto makes personal observations and reveals historical and interesting information about the island. The book is trilingual, with texts in Portuguese, English and Spanish . The same goes for the other volumes – Brasília , Rio de Janeiro , Salvador and São Paulo – of the collection Cities of Brazil, Publifolha.

GUIA ÁFRICA DO SUL E SUL DA ÁFRICA
Inspired by the variety of ethnic groups, cultures and landscapes, journalists Caio Vilela and Fabio Zanini traveled the African continent, mapped in loco the most beautiful walks and places to visit and wrote four hands the Guide of South Africa and Southern Africa.
Especially made for the Brazilian tourists, the guide is above all an invitation to adventure, as the name suggests, presents South Africa, but also includes countries such as Mozambique, Namibia, Swaziland, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
As Caio Vilela is also a photographer, each of these travel tips has been tested and photographed. Meeting with the elephants, swimming with penguins, diving with tiger sharks and visit to a Zulu village are among some of the 25 unforgettable experiences suggested by the authors.
If the trip includes children, the guide has interesting tips for kids and adolescents, such as the monkeys of Monkey Town in Somerset or Lions Drakenstein
The pleasant climate, the gastronomic delights, the different rhythms and styles of music, local good shopping, the charming destinations to never lose and still, all about the world famous wines of South Africa. The guide does not leave anything out. For the more sporting, the suggestion is uphill, mild, incidentally, four hours to the top of Table Mountain. If tourists really want is a bit of comfort, you can find much more than that in magnificent journey aboard the Rovos Rail, one of the most luxurious trains in South Africa.
A calendar of festivals that take place throughout the year can help the reader decide on a good time to go to Africa, depending on the interest. Practical information on how to get to each country, spoken languages, currency, visas and vaccinations help in planning the trip. Useful are also the sites, telephones and prices of some restaurants, lodging, parks and rides. The guide, then, shows a possible Africa and affordable for every budget, for all ages.
